What to expect from a maintenance or troubleshooting service?
There are three main electrical maintenance services you will find in the electrical industry. The basic maintenance consists of data collection, visual inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and retightening of screws where necessary. When a problem occurs in your electrical system it is important to contact your certified electrician as soon as possible and inform them that you require corrective maintenance. Troubleshooting is aimed at correcting any defects or breakdowns in your electrical system. If you aren’t sure about what maintenance you need you needn’t worry as your electrician will inspect your

How often inspections should be conducted?
To maintain adequate safety standards period testing should be carried out as follows. At least every five years for businesses if you are changing owners it is advised that you have an inspection done. If you are a homeowner it is recommended to have a test done every three to five years. After the required inspection and testing, an electrical installation report will be issued to you. The report shows any defects, damages, reported conditions and any noncompliance with current safety standards that can lead to danger. You will also need to update your electrical when necessary to keep up with safety standards regardless of having a new house.
